Brit Troofer Busted In Gold-Inspired Stunt

The actual details aren't that interesting, but you gotta love that picture of them dragging him away. Typical Troofer story about friends and family:
The effect finding out about 9/11 had on my relationships with my friends and family was definitely a challenge. Initially I found talking about the issue a demoralising and mostly unsuccessful venture. Their rejection of the information hit me pretty hard but I knew I lacked a strong grasp of the subject matter.

So he took a three-month course in Troofology....

Typical troofer.

The deranged simpletons honestly believe that after watching a couple of deceptively edited troofer videos that they suddenly morph into fully-qualified civil engineers.

9/11 truth is pretty much a vow of celibacy, isn't it? How many of these knuckleheads have had their wives/girlfriends leave them over this?

Anyway...

I think the link between these actions and 9/11 stem from a belief that war and international terrorism exist because of an over-reliance on fossils fuels.

Right, there was obviously never any war before the industrial revolution made us reliant on fossil fuels. The Punic Wars? The Crusades? The Mongol conquests? Myths that the corporate media have fed the sheeple.

Generally I find people are receptive to the story of the victims’ families – The Jersey Girls, Bob Mcllvaine

Yup. That's why all truthers begin their bait and switch with "the families just want answers". That's why Brian brings up the "widows" and then gets all self-righteous if we're not sufficiently deferential to them. It's a rhetorical shield used by these cowards to deflect criticism.

9/11 Truth is worth 30 hours in jail, but it's not worth the extra few minutes write your sign neatly?

Hey, I still want to know what happened to all of those urinal cakes that were in the Twin Towers and WTC-7?

Where they infact urinal cakes or were they nanothermite charges placed at Ground Zero by attack baboons disguised as helper monkies brought in by the "elevator maintanence" crew?

Come to think of it, what happened to all of the urinals?

I mean sure, it might be possible that they were pulverized in the collapse along with everything else, but a book alleging that Delta Force commandoes (and their attack baboons) removed every urinal (with cake)then loaded them into black helicopters on the roof of the towers in the dead of night would sell more books/videos.

Damnit, done in by a run-on sentence. Didn't see that one coming.

Ha! That photo's hilarious. Even funnier if you crop it up a little tighter, so you can't see what kind of van he's been dragged into.

Proof - if it was required - that there are some complete spastics on my side of the Atlantic as well.

'I knew I lacked a strong grasp of the subject matter'.

And you still do, sunshine. Get in the back of the paddy-wagon. Shit, this is what 'care in the community' is responsible for ...

Poor guy. Gareth actually advertised this 'civil disobedience for 911' on facebook and indymedia for weeks in advance but he couldn't get a single person to join him. Then he wrote it up claiming he was doing it in solidarity with Jon Gold as though he intended it to be on his own.

He's a nice chap. I met him when I briefly went to some 911 meetings a few years back. I grew out of that phase thankfully, sadly he didn't.

Pat, a minor editorial suggestion here... maybe change that headline to "Brit Troofer Busted In Jon Gold-Inspired Stunt."

"Gold-inspired" is a little unclear. It sounds like it might have been inspired by gold-related financial conspiracy theories, in which a lot of Truthers also believe. (The initial-caps nature of the headline adds to the confusion.)

Also, "Gold-Inspired" requires the reader to know who Jon Gold is and/or what he did. Even in the small world of 9-11 Truth, that might be asking too much. Especially since the most newsworthy thing about the stunt is that nobody noticed it or cared.

(Yeah, we regulars all know the story, but I'm talking about feeds and whatnot where the potential audience might not be intimately familiar with Jon Gold.)

Just a suggestion.
