Yet Another Truther Goes Off the Rails

This one wasn't living in Mom's basement.

The FBI has arrested the head of an asset management firm for allegedly threatening 47 government officials with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission.

Trutherism from his website:

As a twice survivor of the WTC bombings, Mr. McCrudden knows all too well what the Government can do in the "name of public interest".

Moron McCrudden here:
Before he was arrested, he posted this rant on his website:

"Go buy a gun and let's get to work in taking back our country from these criminals. I will be the first to lead by example."

According to NBC, a few days later, his website offered a $100,000 reward for home addresses, phone numbers, and background information on a list of what he called "corrupt Government people."

Sounds like another Loughner waiting to happen.

That's not trutherism. That's conspiracy-theoryism.

Is there any evidence that McCrudden ever had any affiliation with the truth movement?

Looks like they threw McCudden's rants down the memory hole. Your link now redirects to a benign front page.

That link did the same thing.

There is still this:

"Wake up my fellow citizens and middle class and go look into the mirror, because you my friends are the face of the new Al Qaeda!

Civil disobedience can be a start for justice. Its us (middle class) against them (Government officials and the Bourgeosie).

Start acting now before its too late!"

Bourgeosie?
Man, haven't heard that for a while!

As for the 'new Al Qaeda' comment, the truthers have always promoted the belief that the government(s) are the terrorists.

Way to go, truthers. Another brilliant success.

Combined with the recent shooting, how long before the truthers start saying this is all some false flag op?

Crazy truthers.
Watch out for Brian Good, he may be the next one. I still think Brian is a potential criminal waiting to blow a fuse. Keep a watch on him.

One and the same. This clown was caught engaging in criminal activity. Rather than face reality, he blames it all on conspiracy theories, thus the appeal of twooferism.

He shares your crackpot hate-America views.

Speaking from a UK perspective, I think that a lot of the agonising about the recent Arizona shootings is misplaced. The perpetrator was a nutcase. His views had nothing to do with Right or Left, and everything to do with crazy. He seems an alienated madman who had picked up on a very unhealthy selection of the lunatic memes on offer on the internet. For example, he thought that the government was controlling people through grammar. Through grammar...When you get to that point the discussion moves from politics to medication.

Unfortunately, the internet has a number of websites and discussion boards that are deliberately designed to separate delusional people from their money, by reinforcing their delusions. So, you can pay $29.99 for a DVD on FEMA death camps and a perfectly sane bastard gets richer while a lunatic spirals further down the rabbit-hole of insanity. They are the ones to blame for the latest horror. They are the ones who put that poor little girl into the ground and tore the lives and health from so many others.

This blog identified that trutherism wasn't just a funny little crazy cult a long time ago and the death toll keeps mounting. So, this latest chap has to be viewed in the light of the actions of his peers. Another dangerous nutcase, probably making money for the Alex Jones's of this world, who will wreck his own life and maybe take some innocents with him.

Bottom line, if you think that 9/11 was an inside job then you need help.

Sometimes even the mad can have some perspective on their insanity.

There seem to be a lot of potential Loughners out there.

Just last month a guy brought a gun to a school board meeting in Florida... over a half-cent local sales tax, and his wife getting fired.

A few months ago a guy burned his house down, and crashed his plane into an IRS building, killing a 68-year-old man. Over a tax audit.

Our nation seems to be producing a new breed of sociopath: people who think their opinions and their petty squabbles with the U.S. government justify indiscriminate murder.

He's insane.

Same as you.

Why is it that when a guy like this gets caught not following the rules he flips out against the government?

Plus if the government is as powerful as he thinks that it is and does things like bring down the WTC then why doesn't his logic follow through? Think about it this way:

The gang that would have brought the WTC down would be part of a "Shadow Government", so why threaten the rank and file who would have no knowledge nor control?

Second why the hell would you want to piss a government like that off in the first place? What happens when a Chinese citizen threatens the government?

I mean there is a damned good reason you'll never see WikiLeaks reveal any Russian secrets.

"The government" is just a bogeyman to people like this. It's a nameless, faceless, all-powerful evil entity to blame for all their problems, no matter however self-inflicted they may be. So there's no need for any internal consistency in their rants or their actions.

The goat molester babbles, "...That's not trutherism. That's conspiracy-theoryism."

I've seen the face of stupidity, and his name is Brian "goat molester" Good.
